Founded in 1995 and led by Todd Walker FAIA and Barry Alan Yoakum FAIA both elevated to the College of Fellows (FAIA) in Design placing them in the top one percent in the US. We view each project as a unique opportunity to lead a community’s understanding of the built environment and the value of design. We advance progressive architecture within a variety of historical and urban contexts. Internationally, we had two of the six projects recognized by World Architecture News (WAN) award as finalists in 2016. We were recently invited by The Architectural League of New York to submit for their Emerging Voices 2017 Award. We have garnered more than 150 AIA awards and have won more AIA Awards than any other firm in the history of Tennessee and our region.

Our work focuses on buildings in the public sector for a variety of federal, state and local agencies including the department of defense (including the continental us and overseas). We also renovate historic buildings, including mid-century-modern structures on the National Historic Register, to provide a modern, efficient and competitive environment for a new or existing use.
