For over 30 years I have worked in social science research, holding positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and providing consultation for businesses and government agencies. My career has been steeped in the behavioral sciences with a focus on applying information technology to improve research data, methods, and processes. I understand the trade-offs involved in using survey and marketng research methods to guide strategic business decision-making. I listen to clients in order to deliver pracitcal and actionable recommendations at reasonable cost. Most recently, my work has focused on research data management creating interactive applications based on the Data Documentation Initative metadata standard.
