Cajal is a startup that was founded in April 2020. Our goal is to develop novel therapeutics for neurodegenerative disorders. We are a team of 20 multi-disciplinary scientists with expertise that spans human genetics, mouse genetics, neuroscience, and high-resolution microscopy. We believe that the hallmark of disorders like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's is axonal degeneration, and our team's goal is to develop novel therapeutics that address this specific molecular feature in the brain of patients.
