Coleman Engineering Company maintains specialized drilling equipment necessary to work in rough terrain, drilling holes to depths of 300 feet or more, and obtaining adequate recovery of samples of all types of rock and soil. Our survey personnel rely upon Trimble/Topcon/Sokia GPS-RTK or Trimble/Topcon Robotic Total Station instrumentation, and Lieca and Trimble Digital Levels all of which have either on-board or hand-held electronic data collection capabilities. CEC also has its own hydrographic/bathymetric sounding equipment. Our surveyors utilize the “Hydrolite TM” sounding equipment, coupled with our RTK-GP’s or Robotic Total Station which can accurately map underwater features up to 200 feet deep. CEC can access project sites with of any one of our twelve 4WD vehicles.. We also utilize snowmobiles, UTV’s (side-by-side with tracks), ATV's (4 Wheelers) (4WD), Argo (8WD) and small watercraft as required by the conditions of any field project.
