Detroit Premiere Artists (DPA) was established in 2011 by Hagi Craig and Carl Craig. As Detroit is the birthplace of the musical genre known to the world as Techno, a term minted by Juan Atkins one of the creators of the genre, DPA was established to represent, manage and book Detroit artists for performances, events and venues around the world. DPA also manages the promotion and event creation of electronic music events showcasing music and performances from and by Detroit artists.
