Description
Eclipse's laboratory is a 10,500 square foot state-of-the-art nanotechnology facility containing: vacuum deposition areas; test and characterization area; thin film modeling area; wet and polymer processing lab; and a full machine shop. Knowledge areas include: material science (electrochromics, filters, conductors, smart materials, sensors); chemistry (electrochromics, polymers, electrolytes, sensors, solar cells, etc.); engineering (RF hardware, and software, various electronics and software design, etc.) Eclipse has the capability to fabricate multi-layer thin film devices consisting of up to hundreds of discrete layers of differing materials, deposition of up to 12 different materials per cycle, tri-depositions (3 simultaneous, independently controlled depositions), and low temperature deposition (less than 60°C).
