General Warehousing and Storage

Establishments in this category are primarly engaged in operating merchandise warehousing and storage facilities. These establishments generally handle goods in containers, such as boxes, barrels, and/or drums, using equipment, such as forklifts, pallets, and racks. They are not specialized in handling bulk products of any particular type, size, or quantity of goods or products.

Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Miniwarehouses)

Establishments in this category are primarly engaged in acting as lessors of buildings (except miniwarehouses and self-storage units) that are not used as residences or dwellings. This includes establishments primarily engaged in one or more of the following: (1) collecting and/or hauling nonhazardous solid waste (i.e., garbage) within a local area; (2) operating nonhazardous solid waste transfer stations; and (3) collecting and/or hauling mixed recyclable materials within a local area.
