Elphel is a technology company doing research and development in the field of high-performance digital cameras, image processing, 3D imaging and machine learning. Elphel cameras were used in Google Books and Google Streetview projects. Elphel developed methods of precise camera calibration for photogrammetric multiple-view cameras. Elphel camera is the longest range depth sensing system with small form factor. We have applied this technology to thermal vision sensors and developed passive Long Wave Infra Red (LWIR) 3D sensing system that exceeds current state of the art by 6.5 times.
