Ernie Aragon LLC is a subject matter specialist in 'precision motion control'. We also offer mechanical engineering, machine design & automation services. For motion control projects we advise and assume responsibility for tasks ranging from requirements definition to solution specification, development & integration. The owner is a versatile engineer (MSME) who served the NM automation community for over 18 years by specifying/supporting a broad range of integrated solutions to meet motion & automation goals, both in new designs & as retrofits. Customers included Sandia Labs, LANL, OEM’s, machine builders & industry. Prior to that Ernie engaged in a breadth of pursuits including mechanical engineering (design, test, FEA & other analyses) applied to gas turbine engines, pulsed-power devices & various 1-off mechanical designs, as well as business development & writing (eg, SBIR proposals, tech reports, 70+ NM State Senate bill analyses, contracts, business plan, patent).
