Garage82’s purpose is to increase participants earning potential and financial stability through training. Helping guide our organization are our core values: Embrace, Educate, and Empower. •Embrace all different types of people by treating our participants with kindness and respect and being open to other people’s perspectives. •Educate- Encourage and promote continued learning and connect people to the right resources. •Empower participants by asking questions that help them find the answers themselves. We focus on: •Pre-apprenticeships in the trades- classroom, hands on projects, paid work experience, job placement, assistance with enrollment into trade schools and apprenticeships. •Online courses in information technology, and manufacturing industries. Partnering with workforce investment programs, we serve underserved populations, minorities, re-entry, non-custodial parents, youth, and dislocated workers. Women-owned small business with LGBTQ cert.
