IHS is a social business specializing in the humanitarian sciences. We are a field-based organization with experience in Mexico, the Philippines, Cambodia, South Africa, China, and the US. Our particular focus is the providing of purified drinking water to disadvantaged populations, including slums, industrial toxic spills, and the aftermath of natural disasters. We are comfortable working with national and international government structures, multinational corporations, and slum communities. We have exceptional access to cutting edge technology and we teach in several global institutions including Singularity University, the University of Washington School of Medicine, Stanford, DARPA, the International Disaster Response Academy in Bonn, Germany, the Institute for Disaster Preparedness at Tsinghua University in Beijing China, and the Qualcomm Institute at the University of California in San Diego.
