Peak & Prairie Log Homes builds log many types of structures with a patented log block wall building method. Structures include cabins, camping cabins, park shelters, pit toilets and storage sheds. We have the cabinet and furniture making capacity to furnish our structures. The method uses 12 to 16 inch long log blocks with two parallel sides cut to a uniform thickness, laid on stringers that provide structural stability. The method is eco friendly because the log blocks alone provide adequate insulating R value and provide significant carbon sequestration.
