Knovalent, Inc. has been providing software solutions to government and corporate clients since 1988. Past government projects were through SEMATECH, a semiconductor industry manufacturing consortia then based in Austin, Texas and through the NCMS (National Center for Manufacturing Sciences), a military maintenance consortia in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Current corporate clients use Knovalent software (the Vanguard system) which includes the applications, installation, configurations, and training needed for competitive automotive parts suppliers. Vanguard is a focused system that includes accounting, costing, materials management, inventory control, EDI, barcoding, and scanning for manufacturing and distribution. Vanguard can be used across multiple plants, warehouses, and business units.
