LedgerDomain is a blockchain platform developer founded in 2016 that brings security and real-time visibility to highly regulated supply chain communities. In 2019, the company partnered with UCLA Health as part of a pilot for FDA, aimed at tackling the problem of counterfeit and suspect medicines. They joined forces to create a blockchain-based mobile app used by real caregivers delivering critical life-saving medications at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The framework proved to be capable of real-time performance, multiple roles with differing permissions, in-app member provisioning, inventory tracking at the stockroom level, accurate barcode scanning and parsing, and verification from the manufacturer. More recently, LedgerDomain has extended this framework to scan any prescription drug in the United States. LedgerDomain is a member of Hyperledger, GS1 Healthcare, the Linux Foundation, the Partnership for DSCSA Governance, and the Clinical Supply Blockchain Working Group.
