Loon Lake Fire Rescues capabilities are derived from a threat and mission analysis. As a cooperative campus we provide ALS/ BLS medical resources to wildland fire incident needs for region 1. Collectively providing remote lifesaving response, strategy, equipment and tactics to all incidents and tasking orders. We provide cost efficient professional response as a team, we minimize further systemic insult or injury and manage life-threatening conditions through a series of well-defined and appropriate interventions, and to embrace principles that ensure patient safety. Enabling us to support suppression efforts or conduct EMS activities and patient extraction at any fire incident. These capabilities provide rapid assessment, stabilization and transportation to the appropriate care facility. Creating lower overhead expense, greater value and is a more cost-effective option over the course of time on the incident.

AMBULANCE: Loon Lake Fire Rescue utilizes Type I and III ambulances for primarily Advanced Life Support (ALS) module teams, but may also be refitted for Basic Life Support (BLS) tasking orders. Each module is staffed with a Paramedic EMPF and EMTF both fireline qualified and credentialed under the NREMT along with Montana State licensure and other states participating under the EMS Compact Act. OVERHEAD: We offer 4x4 Truck/ SUV and 4x4 UTV moduleS EMS teams that are capable for rugged wilderness patient extraction and immediate response along the fireline. Can be outfitted for BLS and ALS staffed with a Paramedic and/or AEMT/ EMTB.
