MuscleSound is a software company that uses diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound to assess overall MuscleHealth and body composition. This is uniquely achieved by capturing scanned images of the muscle using a portable ultrasound device. Images can be displayed on a laptop and/or tablet before being uploaded to our cloud-based application for analysis using our patented algorithms. Results are virtually instantaneous and noninvasive.

Hardware includes; 1 ultrasound device, 1 Android tablet, 1 training table or flat surface, 1 bottle transmission gel. Software includes; 1 MuscleSound license, 1 Lumify application, 1 MuscleSound keyboard download. Ultrasound Requirements: preferred device is the Philips Lumify probe/transducer L12-4 linear array transducer. The Lumify can be purchased for $8,000.00 or leased monthly for $200.00 plus the cost of insurance directly from Philips or MuscleSound. It has a MicroB USB transducer with a replaceable cable. It has a scan depth of up to 12cm. MuscleSound uses the musculoskeletal application. Tablet Requirements: preferred device is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. The Galaxy has WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity and the internal storage is 32GB. The cost of the tablet ranges from $375.00 to $450.00. The device can be charged.
