NHPA is a small, vibrant business devoted to promoting health and wellness through a mix of products and services. A key focus is the development, testing, and dissemination of evidence-based approaches to target behavioral risk factors associated with major chronic diseases as well as violence, accidents, and preventable injuries. NHPA has placed special emphasis on evidence-based approaches proven to prevent tobacco, alcohol, drug abuse, and violence among children, adolescents and young adults. To achieve its mission, NHPA develops, tests, and disseminates health education material in both printed and digital form, conducts training for educators and health professionals, provides technical assistance, and consults with schools, state, and federal agencies to further the use of evidence-based health promotion and disease prevention approaches. NHPA is located in White Plains, New York.
