In order to eliminate the negative impact of poverty, NEXT Steps developed the Community On Demand STEAM Education & Life Skills Development Learning Management System which uses educational technology platforms and STEAM-based financial literacy programs to create learning environments that maximize engagement, generate wealth and build sustainable communities.

Community On Demand uses game-based learning and strategic, planning and learning exercises to produce employable candidates with high-demand STEAM skills. It also balances real life subject matter with a micro-credentialing platform to help learners 1) produce defined learning outcomes and 2) transform their knowledge, capabilities, interests, STEAM skills and achievements into digital micro-credentials, service-learning projects, career-building opportunities and social enterprises.
