Richaven PLLC, Architecture and Sustainable Preservation, offers a full array of professional services working with the rehabilitation and preservation of the historic built environment. Services include architectural design, preservation planning, project management, and construction management, specializing in technical architecture and preservation issues. Our experience is rooted in the synergistic combination of professional practice on both the owner and design team sides of projects, on-site experience in construction management, volunteer service in preservation organizations, and teaching at the University of Washington. Our projects are focused on historic buildings in the public sector, including K-12 educational and university facilities, libraries, theaters, and commercial buildings. Richaven approaches existing and historic buildings with the goal of future-proofing them by respecting their historic character while adapting them to meet new requirements.
