We develop and synthesize nanoparticles that can trace neuronal systems in the brain non-invasively. For example we can assess the functional capacity of noadrenergic neurons in Alzheimers disease to detect early degenerative changes. We have developed another nanoparticle that can be used as an alternative for spaying/neutering in dogs and cats. We are developing a nanoparticle to treat ovarian cancer and another to treat respiratory infections and avoid patients from having to use ventilators. We can measure hormones using radioimmunoassay and neurotransmitters using HPLC. We can monitor blood pressure in conscious animals using radiotelemetry.
