We provide an air conditioning system uses a recuperative heat exchange process, similar to a heat pipe system, except our system uses water for the heat transfer instead of refrigerant. We call our system TRICOIL. Our TRICOIL system is a cost effective, energy efficient means of air conditioning in hot and humid climates where good Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is important. With our system outside air ventilation rates can be increased to levels up to and including 100% outside air. Our system is not a medical device, however, when combined with a Bi-polar Ionization and H2O2 Ionization air purification, which we also provide, our system is used to clear the indoor environment of impurities such as many types of bacteria, viruses and mold. Our system does not use or produce ozone.

The recuperative heat exchange process is comprised of precooling, primary cooling and reheating of an air stream but instead of using three separate air coils we combine the three functions into one single coil. This reduces the size of the air handing unit thereby saving space in the equipment room and making the system less expensive. Our TRICOIL system is delivered in small fan coil units or large air handling units which are either single packages or module units. Our primary means of cooling is chilled water but direct expansion systems are also units. The TRICOIL System can be used to cool a single room or a suite of rooms as in a hotel or can be used to serve an entire facility such as an office building or industrial facility. It can be applied as the the only means of cooing and heating of a space or it can be applied as a Dedicated Outside Air System (DOAS).
