StormImpact has developed machine learning models and storm data dashboards for utilities predicting weather-related power outages, equipment damage, and how many customers will lose power. These models are trained and validated by combining weather forecasts and historical utility performance data. Electrical utilities access our storm data dashboard through a dedicated web platform. These models are used operationally to provide advanced intelligence for pre-storm planning and resource allocation. Our tools help electrical utilities to enhance their resilience and reduce their risk to storm damage.
