Vy is a software company using artificial intelligence to collect hard data from visual imagery. We make life or death decisions about military and medical use cases as well as or better than a person. We do this in varying lighting conditions with cluttered backgrounds involving occlusions, poor contrast, and low resolution. Vy has developed and patented a powerful platform for reliably detecting objects and areas of interest in static, video, and hyperspectral imagery with no manual calibration. We save all of our results in an industry standard database and have the capability to fuse data from multiple sources. We call our methodology “Shape-Based Modeling Segmentation” (SBMS).
