WI-SENSE LLC

Wi-Sense LLC, is a 2013 start-up focusing on environmental, chemical and biological sensors, as well as low-power, compact wireless devices (wearable, mobile and fixed) for personal healthcare as well as remote standoff detection of environmental pollutants and hazardous substances. Applications include wearable sensors, environmental air-quality monitoring, personal exposure characterization for respiratory and cardiac healthcare, first responders' safety, homeland security, and industrial occupational health monitoring. Wi-Sense is currently funded by an NIH SBIR Grant to develop 'Mobile Environmental Exposure Personal Sensors (MEEPS) for Respiratory Health Applications' as part of DHHS e-Health initiative.
