Description

Our background in solar powered electronic sensors and GPS/AVL systems provided an excellent means of implementing self-sustaining remote-control environmentally-conscious decision systems. We provided consulting assistance to Midwest state governments on waterway usage, chemical usage plans for ice and snow removal activities, and installed weather monitoring devices and traffic control devices for the motoring public. This included two successful patent applications for solar powered road closure & hazard warning systems.In 2007, this experience led TEC into the fields of water and energy conservation engineering through the use of rain harvesting systems and solar powered communications devices (cellular, wi-fi, and satellite) connected to various types of sensor suites.
