Place to Recover, LLC (P2R) founded in March 2018, serves the reentry and recovery population. P2R acts as a one stop shop focused on social determinants of health for the reentry population. REENTRY services include: assessment/resource identification; referral and warm hand off; use of service providers, faith leaders, reentry partners to meet basic needs; guides vocational rehabilitation, education, entrepreneurship; job placement; transportation; case management; mentorship; and evidence-based programs. P2R provides workshops to assist the reentry population. P2R Owner’s experience includes addiction services, prisoner reentry, and parole. She has a Masters’ in Criminal Justice and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional. She’s a trainer/facilitator of evidence-based programs and assisted with the Ohio Plan for Productive Prisoner Reentry and Recidivism Reduction. Retired in 2018, she worked for the AOD Board coordinating Lorain’s first Restored Citizens Summit.
