permitted to survey and handle certain federally listed snakes, fish, and birds, with a focus on the Southwestern United States. Can provide research-based venomous reptile ecology, management and safe handling training. State permitted for translocation and removal of nuisance wildlife, including prairie dogs, skunks, and reptiles. NPS and university IACUC protocols for animal care and handling.
