Description

Provides the universal restoration of industrial machine metal-to-metal joint mating surfaces. Which is a restoration of pressure boundary components on non-operable machine equipment. These metal-to-metal surfaces typically involve horizontal & vertical casing halves that are bolted together and designed to contain high pressure steam, oil, liquid, and gas from escaping into the atmosphere. Typical machinery would include industrial steam turbines, large pumps, and compressors of various shapes and sizes. Typical installation would be found on ships and power plants.

Special details

TWS utilizes both power and hand scraping tooling such to remove/deburr metal in a precision manner to fair in the horizontal joint precisely. Each pass of the scraping tool removes as little as .0005” material. More accurate than a typical milling machine is able to achieve, effective in-place scraping can achieve a far superior pressure containing horizontal joint.
