Bruce Howard Contracting, Inc. (BHCI) headquartered in Charles City County, Virginia was founded in 1998, and has grown to 150 employees, . BHCI is a prequalified VDOT Contractor with experience successfully constructing heavy civil projects throughout the Commonwealth (and beyond). The company brings specific relevant expertise in large civil excavation and grading projects. BHCI owns a large fleet of over 360 pieces of heavy construction equipment, including on the road tractors and dump trucks. BHCI has all necessary equipment, manpower and knowledge to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. BHCI has an in-house Professional Engineer with civil design and review capabilities as well as dedicated safety manager and officers overseeing all in-field work. BHCI also has established working relationships with many commercial and industrial entities throughout the state of Virginia.
